(More customer reviews)I am satisfied with my kindle's new look and I pretty much agree with the rest of the 5 star reviews on the decal skin sticker. Good quality and easy to apply. I think pair of tweezers will make the process go easier too. Maybe it's just me but I won't recommend doing this after having a cup of coffee.
Here is the part that I didn't like. I can't say I am happy with the free download screen saver and here are my reasons why.
1. When my kindle is in screen saver mode, the menu bar at the bottom (where the menu and battery status indicator is located) shifts the screen saver slightly higher and the screen saver does not match the skin pattern like the product photo. Isn't this a false advertisement or can this be corrected?
2. The instruction tells you to press ALT+SHIFT+0 (zero) for each image that you want to turn into a screensaver. "The Complete User's Guide to the Amazing Amazon Kindle" cautioned that this will set picture as your screen saver but ONCE YOU REPLACE THE KINDLE'S NATIVE SCREEN SAVERS, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET THEM BACK!
I wish I knew that before hand because I really liked the kindle's screen savers and want to have them back. Unless you don't mind losing them, I would NOT recommend using this product's screen saver.
Finally, I'd be soooo happy if anyone knew how I can get my native screen savers back.
**Update**
It's been sometime since I posted this review. I have update on the screen saver problem. I don't know how to explain what happened but my native screen savers came back on their own. I thought it got wiped out when I replaced it with the screen saver from this product. Very strange...
