Get great reception and mobile communication throughout your home with the AT&T E5862 cordless telephone and answering system. This package includes two E580-2 Cordless Handsets plus the base station that also functions as a speakerphone and a digital answering machine. The additional handset comes with a separate charger base that you can conveniently place elsewhere in your home. You can add up to 8 phones to this system. This phone system provides caller ID/call waiting information when subscribed to service, and it has a 50-number call log. It also includes a 50 name/number quick-dial directory.
It transmits over 5.8 GHz DSS technology, offering you the best available performance when it comes to clarity, range, and security. To be on the 5.8 GHz wavelength means you're on a much less trafficked area of the bandwidth than both the 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz products occupy.
The answering system can record up to 99 messages, depending on how long each message is. Individual messages can be up to 4 minutes long, but total maximum recording time is 25 minutes. Messages will remain available for replay until you delete them. Each handset has a full color graphic display with an icon driven menu for easy control and use, as well as adjustable polyphonic music ring tones. Other features include:
