(More customer reviews)First off, I didn't actually buy this from Amazon -- I bought it on another website that had a lower price.
If you're thinking of buying this, you should know that this disk is just a subset of the images on the COSMI 5,000 Photo Objects (Windows) disk. Since that disk includes all of these images, plus about 2,000 extras, it may be a better deal than this one. Some general caveats that apply to both disks:
1. The image selection is not that great. There's a pretty good selection of fruits and vegetables, and random household/office items, but that's about it. The HIJAAK PhotoArt collection has no animals (except for insects and a taxidermy duck), no people, no plants/flowers, and no vehicles (however, the COSMI disk does add some people and a few plants).
2. The "pre-masked" description makes it sound like the images have transparent backgrounds, but this is not the case. All of the images are in JPG format with white backgrounds.
3. The images are not particularly hi-res -- I think most of them are 800 pixels or less along their longer dimension.
